20V Max Cordless Drill/Driver Kit — M18-FPD2-502
A brushless motor delivers 1,500 in-lbs of torque and up to 2,100 RPM — enough for structural framing in dimensional lumber, decking, and light steel attachment. The all-metal planetary gearbox is designed for daily professional use; the chuck runs true under load without the wobble common in plastic-gear competitors.
The 5.0 Ah REDLITHIUM battery provides 33% more runtime than the 3.0 Ah cell, and the included M12/M18 dual-charger tops both batteries simultaneously. An on-tool LED worklight illuminates the work surface in low-clearance cabinets and junction boxes. The kit ships in a heavy-duty HDPE case with the two batteries, charger, belt hook, and double-ended bit.
Intended environments: Commercial construction, MRO facilities, utility maintenance, pre-fab manufacturing, and field service. Not recommended for masonry or geological drilling without a dedicated rotary hammer.

Is this compatible with other 18V/20V battery platforms?
Yes — the 20V Max platform uses the standard T-style battery mount shared by most major brands' 18V/20V lines. Your existing Milwaukee, DeWalt, Makita, or similar 18V batteries can be used with an adapter (sold separately, $14.95).
Can I use this for masonry drilling?
For masonry, we recommend our rotary hammer lineup (SKU prefix PTD-RH). This drill's hammer function is intended for light impact into wood and metal; sustained masonry work will shorten gearbox life.
What is the lead time for 100+ unit orders?
Stocked inventory covers most orders up to 200 units immediately. Orders above 200 units may require 3–7 additional business days for warehouse replenishment. Contact your account rep for confirmed availability.
Does this come with a FAT certificate?
Yes. Every unit ships with a Factory Acceptance Test report listing the measured no-load speed, no-load current, and Chuck runout for that specific serial number. FAT reports are retained for 10 years.
